This visa is for teachers or researchers. The visa permits educational research institutions or other organisations to hire teachers and research professionals. It is necessary that the position to be filled not be staffed from the existing Australian labour pool.
Stays of up to three months must be supported by a letter from the employer. Stays of more than three months need a formal sponsorship.
