Temporary Business Visitor Visa to Australia

The Business Short Stay visa is for bona fide business persons. They may make visits to Australia for up to 3 months for business, participate in conferences, business negotiations or exploratory business visits. The visa can be single-entry or multiple-entry. In some countries, candidates can obtain a Business (Short Stay) visa when they purchase their airline tickets. Ask for a Business Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). Alternately, people may apply on the Internet.

Written applications can be lodged with the department of immigration using this form.

A member of parliament or an authorised government agency or a local government mayor or an organisation specified by the Minister can guarantee a person’s visit as a sponsored business visitor. The sponsorship was designed for individuals or delegations that require streamlined service. The Australian sponsor provides an undertaking that their visitors will abide by the visa conditions. This also means that they undertake that the visitor departs Australia before the visa expires.
